i think leokasa is really epic. they have very blatant homoerotic tension within a lot of their exchanges. blue filament is a good example and robin hood is also a very excellent leokasa gacha.

i think they’re a sort of love at first sight pairing but in the way that tsukasa finds leo absolutely incomprehensible and as a result needs to know Why leo is like that and decides to make it his goal to find out everything he can about leo because in his mind there’s no way that leo’s music could come from someone like leo whos an absolute madman. there’s no way knights’ leader could be so shameless . but as he learns more about leo i think he comes to genuinely care about him. there’s a really good scene from robin hood and also some really good monologues in requiem that illustrates tsukasa’s love and care and readiness to accept all parts of leo

i also think that they’re both in general really good fits for each other. tsukasa is someone who has a hard time making friends with other people and being casual or letting himself indulge and have fun but leo is really good at that stuff!! there’s a fun sub story where leo gets tsukasa to just have fun and dance with him until they’re both having fun and laughing together and this is like. back when they both didn’t really know each other well... tsukasa is someone who is honest and upfront about his feelings and that’s something leo needs. all leo really wants is to love and be loved as much as he loves others, but because of everything that’s happened to him he feels like that sort of thing isn’t possible. tsukasa makes him feel like he’s needed (dragging him to practices and insisting they can’t do things without leo there) and he makes him feel loved. he’s not afraid to offer leo reassurance or boldly proclaim his love at all. stares at requiem where they both basically confessed their love to each other on stage in front of a giant audience

Not to mention the blatant homoeroticism of not only a king and his knight, but TWO kings. leo and tsukasa’s relationship is all about seeing each other as equals and i think this is illustrated really well when leo passes the crown to tsukasa. leo believes in him a lot and genuinely want tsukasa to do his best and thrive and reach for whatever he wants and is more than willing to help him get there. throughout requiem he tells tsukasa that no matter what he chooses he’ll support him and that he just wants kasa to be happy

tsukasa spends so long trying to get leo to actually call him by his name and then leo says his full name in requiem. damn that hit.
also it’s really cute that tsukasa wanted to call leo the same thing he calls his cat counterpart in robin hood

leo is also more than happy to spoil suo and offer him compliments. he talks a lot about how pretty tsukasa is and how he likes his voice and it makes him feel inspired and i think leo would enjoy feeding him strawberries as much as he enjoys harassing kasa. he thinks tsukasa is very cute and endearing and he’s right
